We had to get up bright an early this morning to take Noelle to her eye appointment. Our international specialist suggests that all children seen by her should have their eyes examined as well as other things too for an overall check. We've been keeping busy and we are at the tail end of the appointments now (yeah for Noelle and Mommy, Big Brother and Big Sister too!). She did so well for us at the appointment today, she's such a trooper and brave little girl with all these appointments! Her eyes looks great and healthy!! Yeah Noelle!!
Today was another hot day here, so we decided to swim in our little pool out back and it was the best thing to cool off :0) Noelle's is learning to hold onto your arms and kick her feet!
Now that she's been in our family for the past two months, I feel like she's REALLY starting to attach to me even more which is wonderful! I think a lot of it has to do with the "cocooning" that we are still doing! She will come out of no where with her little arms stretched out saying "mommy" and wanting to be held and quite clingy too! I don't mind it one bit!! Her newest word is "Come on" with the hand motions - usually telling her brother and sister to get going after hearing Mommy saying it countless times :0) Oh, she also says "go, go, go" - just too cute!!
I'd like to thank all our family and friends that have been patient with us during this "cocooning" time, it's been a true blessing to watch her bloom and grow. We still have a lot of room to grow in this department so we are taking it at the speed that's best for her. Knowing her life in the orphanage, it's critical that we let her know that we are Mommy and Daddy (her primary caregivers) and she can depend on us for all her needs.
We are truly blessed to have this daughter and she seems to fit into our family seamlessly! She is definitely hand-picked from above and one special little girl with an infectious grin!! We all just love her to pieces!!!
