We are excited to announce that we are in the process of adopting our son from China.  He just turned 13 years old and is aging out of the system at the age of 14, could you imagine?  Only 14!!  This adoption is different from Noelle's, as we are in the process of an expedited adoption.  Our paper work process is moving along much faster and keeping us rather busy.  Our son is worth every step of the way!

We heard the Lord speaking to us about this precious child, we listened and obeyed.  God is moving mountains and He provides!  Please continue to check back for new updates as we go through another adoption journey!  We appreciate your prayers during this journey!

Blessings,
The Pahls Family

Happy Gotcha Day / Forever Family Day Noelle!!

Wowsers, I can't believe it's been so long since I've updated our blog - so sorry!

Today we celebrated our One Year Gotcha Day / Forever Family Day with Noelle and rest of our family!  She was so happy, she knew this day was all about her!!  I'd sing to her "Happy Gotcha Day to You" in the tune of Happy Birthday and she loved it and soaked it all up!!

Last year we had a special dinner with both sets of grandparents to celebrate the news of our TA (Travel Approval), but this year we got to celebrate a special lunch with the grandparents for Gotcha Day/Forever Family Day!!  It was so nice to be with each other and share this special day together.  She has changed so much within this first year!!  We are so blessed to have her in our family!  Last year at this time we had a scared yet brave little girl.  Now she is a sweet and spunky little three year old that is full of life!!

Here's some photos of today!! Enjoy!

Happy Birthday Noelle!!

Happy Birthday Noelle!

She actually was taking the onions off the pizza and eating it!  :)

Birthday Cake made by Mommy

She's in full force mode here!!

Most of her birthday gifts - so blessed!

Happy Girl!!

Cake time - preparing to blow out her candles!!

The best way to end the party - cake!!

Okay, so I've been lagging in bloggy world a tadbit, but I thought the pictures before update would help win you over :)  This little precious gift from above and her older siblings, keeps this mommy hopping with little free time!  I'll try to do better for everyone :)

Our precious little Noelle turned 3 on Christmas Eve!  We were so elated to have her home with us to celebrate her special day and love on her :)  We decided to have a Birthday Party on her actual birthday - we had a pizza party!!  Both sets of grandparents came, as well as some aunts and uncles - it was a good time.  When it came time to open her birthday presents, she started out meticulously openning each gift being neat and tidy, then she got into the hang of it all and was full force!  She was well prepared to unwrap gifts the following day for Christmas!

Mommy made her a special Kai Lan birthday cake, she even blew out the candles too!!

In the last eight months, we've been so blessed by this little one.  Everyday is full of suprises and lots of hugs and snuggles.  So happy she's finally home, last year at this time Mommy was missing her something awful!!

Happy Birthday precious Noelle Grace!!  Mommy, Daddy, big brother and big sister love you so much!!

Noelle Updates

We have finally got some pig tails!!

Mommy and Noelle showing off the new piggies!  Yay!

Big sis teaching little sis ballet - so sweet!!
Little Noelle is growing so fast and learning so much each and everyday!  We've even got a good start on the potty training, hoping by Christmas to have it down pat for sure!  We've had a few off days because of our crazy schedule - she does well when we are fully into our structured routine during the daytime.

We are off to see the Christmas parade in the town I grew up in and the kids are so excited, as we try to go every year but this year is extra special because we get to share it with Noelle too!

We'll try to post some from the parade and our tree going up tomorrow - she's probably going to wonder why on earth is there a tree in our house!  Love it!!

National Adoption Month

This past Sunday was considered Adoption Sunday!  My husband and I were asked to be interviewed by our church to talk about our adoption experience and it was shown at both services that morning.  We are still so humbly blessed by adoption - Noelle has blessed us more than you can even imagine!!

Enjoy the video of our interview, I'll also download the service that week too.  We had about 31 adoptive children come across the stage during the song "One Less" by Matthew West, and the parents met them at the stage and walked as a forever family up the center aisle!  Simply beautiful to see God's hands and feet and bringing together families!

We had an beautiful day of worship yesterday!  It is amazing to me to see how many children within our church that have been blessed by adoption, in reality those precious children have really blessed their forever families!  Noelle indeed is One less!

Noelle's Re-Adoption Day!

I have so much to catch up on in blogging land...  Hopefully, soon I'll get caught up.  However, I will share with you today's special occassion!  We had a court date set for today bright and early to re-adopt Noelle in the State of Ohio!  While our adoption was finalized in China, this makes it seem so much more special :0)
We shared the special day with her siblings and both sets of grandparents, which was special because we really wished they could have been with us during our trip to China - but now they got to partake in a special day we'll always remember.

Big bro and big sis - really they were happy just tired from having to get up so early :)

Patiently waiting playing with her panda bear - one of her favorite!

The anxiously awaiting grandparents - somehow Grandpa Pahls was missing I think he was the photographer!

It's final Noelle Grace Si Ye Pahls is officially a Pahls - again :)

Celebration lunch at TGIF - Mommy & one of her favorite girls!
